Thanks Gadge, I am after the carby to fuel tank gasket. Do you know if the pick up tube is threaded into the carby body or is it glued in. There isn't very much you can do with these carbys, apart from clean them and hope they work
Norm, The union between the plastic pickup tube and brass is basically a press on fit with a small clamp over the joint. Basically you slide a clamp up onto the brass tube and twist while pulling the get the plastic tube off. Sometimes you need to just cut off the old plastic tube. Getting the new tube is just about as hard to do; just do not forget to put that clip on the brass tube first. Also don't forget to clean out that brass tube before putting the new pickup.
A side note here about that tower. They can get plugged up so bad that you got to remove those steel balls to clean out the idle passages. I have done two in the last three years.
The carb to tank gasket basically come in two designs a 4 screw and a 5 screw version.
