Hi Bushy,
Looks like an auto, make up a throttle linkage for the lever. I will find you some info on the settings for the points and plug type, remove the points and check that the small rod that actuated the points is free. Don't lose the rod as it might fall out, check the on off switch on the top cowl is working as well.
I have found the coil lead is usually buggered on the 7F engines so work your way through starting at the plug.
