Only way to find out is to remove the magnets and give it a try, I would not expect you would be able to notice any vibration being a single cylinder motor anyway. As for no battery I replaced the battery on one with a jump starter pack, for about the same cost of a new battery, and it also has a compressor to pump the tyres and a built in charger
I suppose i will give it a try and see what happens, it can't make things any worse then they are now anyway, fine on the jump starter pack.
