Depends on if you want to charge the battery or just mow the lawns

What�s wrong with just taking all the broken magnets out of the flywheel and just starting it from a separate car battery (because the on board battery is dead anyway) straight onto the starter motor and just charge the car battery up later. The only problem I can see with this idea is that the flywheel maybe out of balance with no magnets in it.
