Cheers Jeffery, I have a feeling 52 & 62 at the start mean something to the VC-160.

The MKII Serial makes it 71, a year match to the MKII VC-160, It would be the original factory one i would assume.

The numbers often seem mis-aligned across the spaces, I dont think the entire serial is stamped at in one go, maybe the first part at the end of one point in its assembly, then the next part at the fitting of more parts. I have found on one an overlap, where the second gun was so poorly aligned, it took out the last 2 digits of the first code.

And Joe, that sounds about right, Is this the one you have up on Facebook?

Do you have the rest of the number?
