Hi guys,
i have pulled apart a full crank series 7 2stroke 125cc victa and am having trouble getting the starter mechanism (which is attached to the top cover in this model) to engage the motor.
It was working fine before i pulled it apart and all i have done is gave the starter mechanism a dose of wd40 to loosen up some parts (have not taken it apart).
I thought the installation was as simple as bolting down the cover with the 4 bolts, am i missing something here or has the starter mechanism gone in some way?
The starter sometimes engages and sometimes it does not and it sounds like metal rattling (like its looking for grip), it retracts fine but it just does not engage regularly.
