Both the same mower, all Victa did for 25 years with that mower was change the plastics and call it a new model. They did a few tweeks to the carby and changed the inlet manifold all claiming to give more power but apart from that the motor remained the same from when it was introduced in the early eighties.. Yours with the alloy body makes them top of the range. Only issue with them is my absolute hatred of the float needles and primer caps but once you get past that problem these mowers still have countless years left in them
