(all they did) for 25 years was change the plastics and call it a new model. did a few tweeks ... claiming to give more power but apart from that ... remained the same from when it was introduced in the early eighties ... once you get past that problem ... still have countless years left
But back to the mower, Norm has hit the nail on the head. The only difference is the one with the thicker snorkel will supposedly have more power (negligible in reality though)
But basically whichever one will idle without stuffing around would be the one
