Yes the State of California is actually going to ban all new petrol power small equipment sales.
It doesn't surprise me that very controlling state is doing that very knee-jerk policy for political reasons over pragmatic motives without thinking it through.
You also have a battery disposal problem. Do you think everyone will go through proper channels to have them recycled properly?
It's hard enough (where I live) finding a place to dispose of dead lithium batteries now.
