I remember someone slinging off at me why I wouldn't repair a homelite half crank pull cord that wouldn't retract. After standing there ripping it apart and rewinding it, I got it back together in about 30 minutes.
Went to start it, 3 pulls then off choke, 4th pull the pull start let go again. I explained thats why you don't repair these.
They asked me what do I do now.
Without saying a word I turned around and javelined it out the shed door
