If I was repairing the blade carrier I would do the opposite side as well, cut a piece of plate about 80mm square 3mm plate,and drill a small hole where it is needed for the blade bolt then file the hole out to suit the bolt so you can get the flat side in it to hold the bolt. The reason for doing both sides is so you can get the balance right
