was down tinkering with mowers and noticed that there is a difference on the decks of the mowers the guard around the belt on the mower I just got is different to the other mower,it's the green one in the pics,the white one is my mower it's a lot lower than the other one which could explain some of the belt issues plus ,the newer mower has heavier springs on it compared to the other one which has lite springs fitted to the inside of the chassis) compared to the other ,and it also has a rod that runs from the cutting deck below the heavy spring to the front of the mower thats not even on the first mower so we weren't far off saying it had been messed with ,
