I've never noticed an older style Corsair label like that.
It's in remarkable shape with the battle weary cowl.
Reminds me of the situation I had with two side pull Mustang covers where one was cracked everywhere with ingrained marks all over but the label was immaculate whereas the label was creased and pock marked on the good one.
Thanks to a suggestion on here to use a hairdryer while slowly peeling off, I was able to successfully transfer the factory label over.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
