Expected was supposed to say accepted! I got heaps of goodies today but I've just sat down after being on the road since 7 this morning. Driving all over the place to pick up some rare mowers and parts.
I am dedicated to this new passion and it's given me more than I could ever give back!!! I love that there is a community of people who are dedicated to saving this piece of history. No matter what era, brand, or type of mower is your own personal passion, there are many many other people out there that love it just as much as you!!!
The people I have met, when I'm off on a long day of driving from one side of the state to the other for just a cowling ( not literally ) have been great to talk to! I have found my passion and enthusiasm for these mowers rubs off on, so far, everyone I talk to about them and what I'm doing with the mowers and when I show people pictures of my collection of mowers, memorabilia and the manuals they just end up remembering seeing their dad mowing the lawns when they were a kid or something similar and it would be hard to find someone over the age of 35 who doesn't have some pleasant memories of being a kid and seeing someone mowing a lawn in the neighbourhood.
Im getting a second wind, so I might go and take 1 or 2 pictures from today's excursions!!!
