The blade carriers with the ears in them are exactly the same as the normal blade and will fit straight on the PT motor. The ear type blade carrier was fitted to any of the 4 strokes Victa used. I have modified a few of the standard PT blade carrier to fit the Briggs motors with the ear type boss by pressing the ear section in my press.
