Made this up from stuff I picked up off the side of the road (mostly) and an old oil tank/parts washer which was left at the property.
Works ok (with some obvious flaws, granted), but lucky I found the fan & ducting for TOXIC dust extraction out of the shed, via the roof spinner! I also had to put a ceiling fan speed controller on the fan, as I could hear the grit going out as well as the dust!
The gun is some offcut of Delron acetal (tough nylon), drilled out and jammed on an air duster; but the pick up tube length and size is not helping. Works much better as a bag/pot gun with the black pick up tube being a garden poly dripper riser.
The window glass is out of an old oven and could have used the whole door, but it had an etched painted outer glass..
What did it cost?.....a few tek screws, 2 hinges and an air duster really the rest was left overs and road side finds, oh and a tub of NORTON grit from supercheap. It did take about a day to make and test/modify as well.
It uses A LOT OF AIR! as they do... a toolex 15S doesn't keep up with it! might have to twin up with the cheapy air comp as well....
Dont be afraid to make one up yourself, keep your eyes open on the road verges & have a go!
