Heres some pics of my old pace. its a variation ,again differing from the brochure CyberJack shows.including a bigger villiers engine and cowling. the fuel tank placement now closer resembling its victa counterpart. i too think that pace were becoming more innovative than victa at that time ,so smart move Merv buying them out. thanks CyberJack.all very interesting

Great pics and a great brochure, I saw it on EBay and thought that Jack would be onto it. I did notice the Simplex and Villiers anomalyβs in the brochure.
I am just getting around to working on my Simplex powered Pace and Iβm happy to find that the engine is in very good order, carb is clean, bore is clean and it has spark. Exhaust port is not carboned up which is a sign of the engine having had a service at sometime many years ago.
that is great Paul-c. always easier when they have been looked after. i have zero knowledge of the simplex engine and haven' ever crossed paths with one to date .π
