Hi all, here's a few little finds from this week , none have run for a very long time barn dust and all the load was $100....
So theres an old msaa type victa with series 70 engine and g3 carb, I will get it running before quite likely parting it for future projects, the plastic handle bar clamps are long gone (toothed nasty horrible things that are always gone) throttle cable is stuck, just hasnt got a lot going for it but tons of good parts.
A cooper "PT" stationary engine, turns over kind of, all there, will be fixed and tidied up.
A "WING" stationary engine, this thing is very unusual, it has no output shaft, well it does it goes to the magneto, and has 3 vee belt pulleys on the starter side. it would also appear to run anticlockwise if the notch in the starter pulley is anything to go by.
A vc auto drive, the reason I got out of bed this morning with the weather at 0.2 degrees, i think we are in for a nice surprise under all the dust, all there complete, the main decal holder is broken but the rest is pretty good.
Some old masport, I didn't want it, but as I was loading up the last engine with the old guy holding the sale he asked if I was taking it, it might be good for parts or something, I dont go much on these ones, you have to fold the handle to get the catcher off and also flick a lever to open the catcher flap. probably be like the old msaa, just tested and pulled to bits.
Lastly an old Australian made winsconsin also has a lucas external magneto, seems like it would go if I put fuel in it.
Enjoy
