I'm not quite sure what sort of ID that you are looking for as those tags won't give us any actual dates of manufacture. All I can currently tell you is that they were all made in Adelaide at the Holland Street, Thebarton Factory. Some actual photos of the machines themselves would be of greater help.
Cheers, BB.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.
Thanks for the quick reply BB As you asked I have taken more photos and added them to this post. The information I am looking for is are they original engines, and about what year they were built. Regards Arty
I'd say that the 590 and the first 45 are still sporting their original power plants, (April 1977 and September 1978 respectively) while the 3rd machine has definitely had a new Briggs I/C engine fitted.
In saying the above I'm not quite sure why you're actually playing with the 590 as you've got two of the best domestic reels mowers ever made and thus the 590 will be more fuss than it's financially worth.
Cheers, BB.

The reason behind the 590 is that it was my fathers who is now passed. I would like to get it up and running just for sentimental reasons.
I have all the parts to put it back together and I think it would be cool for some of the younger people out there to see one in as original condition.
Maybe my son will want to use it one day who knows?
I will keep you posted with the progress if you like.
As for the other two, I was thinking of stripping them down and replacing just about everything, new paint etc.
Its a pity you are not a bit closer to me. I have a complete 590 that used to work I'm trying to give away. That seems to be the consensus of what they are worth.
Well if you need anything I'm happy to give you anything you need including the whole machine if we could figure out a way. Its all there catcher and all.
