G'day everyone,

I don't know where to ask and I also did a search and I can't seem to find any more information on Victa Codes to be able to track down what model and years various Victa lawnmowers were made.

Last night after reading the thread about Mowerfreak's Victa Charger, I found a link that CyberJack had posted which takes you to an awesome Victa Codes Book which covers Victa models from 1970 to 1991. Here's the link:

It's great as I wrote down all the codes from my Victa's and checked them out last night. Luckily back in the good old days Victa actually made these decals to last. Not like the last scrap yard Victa I found the paper stickers on the side of the air filter housing have already cracked, faded and are almost falling off.

Anyway here are my various Victa mower codes and the results from the original Victa Code Book:

1. Victa VC160 model code "V111", 1972-73 VC 160.
2. Victa Commando model code "VJ165A1", 1982-83 Commando. (my original full crank mower).
3. Victa Craftsman model code "BC082A3", 1983-84 Craftsman Standard. (possibly one of the first powertorques).

Now here's what I would like if anyone out there has anything, can we get a Victa code book or any information on Victa's made from 1991 to the very latest models?

My last Victa mower is a later model which I found the other day in the scrap yard. It was probably made sometime in the 2000's i'm not sure, but I would like to be able to track down what model and year it was made if it's possible. The only code I can still read on the air filter housing is below:

Part Number: PMS 462
Serial Number: 2015940482

Please any help would be much appreciated.

I tried a search on the internet and I just get an old listing that someone was selling one a few years ago, I have also tried typing the model number into the Victa website and it just gives me a user manual. I don't know if it's the exact model as it covers all models even 4 strokes in this manual. It's just a universal lawnmower manual. If I go by the dates on the manual it has revision dates from 2010 to 2012. This could possibly be around the time it was made?

I have found a picture of this mower when it was brand new on the internet, well at least the new one does look exactly like the one I found at the scrap yard. So at least it's mostly original, that's a good start.
