Hi all,

This might be something Bruce could help with more, does anyone have any of the technical bulletin's released for the MSP562, MSV562, or MMX482? Be it engine, carburettor, muffler, or gearbox/self-propelled related?

I've been looking around for any technical documents relating to the MSV562 gearbox & pulley setup, and haven't been able to find anything. Also, I know that there are some slightly different setups for the carburettor's across the commercial and residential ranges, I just wanted to know what anyone may have? All bulletins should have been released after 2006/2007 I believe.

I know part of this is engine and part is chassis, but I figured I'd put it in the one post smile

Cheers in advance,

G'day Pau13z,

Wish I could help mate, have you tried contacting a Victa Gold Dealer as you mentioned the other day can they give you any technical documents?

It's a bit of a long shot but maybe you could also try contacting Victa (Briggs And Stratton).

The problem is, as you know they no longer produce the 2 stroke mowers, but you would think they have to at least provide some sort of support and also spare parts for at least 10 years after they stop production?

I don't know about lawnmowers but I think in the motor car industry and some other industries. They usually have parts and support for 10 years after they stop that product.

I noticed on the Victa New Zealand website they still list a new Victa Commando 2 stroke mower for sale. I wonder how long that will stay up on their website? Here's the link:

https://www.victa.com/nz/en_nz/product-catalog/domestic/lawn-mowers/commando-2stroke.html

Edit: Hmmm, I just checked the Australian Victa site and they also list this same mower at the end? I thought when I checked the Australian Victa website a while ago there was no 2 stroke mowers listed at all. Maybe they found some in the back of a warehouse somewhere? LOL! Or i'm just going mad! lol crazy

Here's the link to Australian Victa website, also showing the same Victa Commando 2 stroke mower:

https://www.victa.com/au/en_au/product-catalog/domestic/lawn-mowers/commando-2stroke0.html

Don't know guys, I swear Victa didn't have a 2 stroke mower listed on their site the last time I checked a while ago. Maybe i'm going mad or they re-listed a 2 stroke mower again? shocked

Hey don't laugh, I actually bought some items from a well known Australian electronics store from their New Zealand warehouse as they no longer had any stock of the older items I wanted from the Australian warehouse.

But it can get really expensive to pay for shipping for a lawnmower from New Zealand to Australia, that's if they even allow you to ship some over..lol. But hey you never know...haha.

Cheers!

SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Jack put up some details and an exploded diagram of the box when I asked for some info on it a few months ago but I can seem to find it now, I never got around to getting it working, I will get back to it one day I hope
