I'm pulling my hair out on this one. Saw sat over the summer with gas in it. Fuel line was rotten, filter plugged, and carb gummed up. Replaced filter, fuel line, and put a kit in the carb after cleaning. Started just fine, ran for a few minutes, then flooded out. Removed carb, blew out with carb cleaner, installed and ran for a few minutes and flooded out again. Tried putting another kit in, only with the same results as above.

Any Ideas??
Thanks in advance.

Paul,
Try this get a match and bring it to a point. Then put some fine grinding paste on it and put it into the seat section. Turn it around as if you are lapping in a valve to clean the seat.
Then clean again with your carby cleaner and replace the needle.

Regards,
Bruce

Bruce,
Thanks for the tip - I'll try it out and let you know how it goes - Don't know why I did not think of it myself since I do it all the time on 4wheelers and mowers, only I use a Golf Tee instead of the match.

That did the trick, now I only have to get the right metering plate gasket to make it run right (kit comes with 2 different one's, only they sent 2 of the same kind - of course, the wrong one for my carb)

Thanks again,
Paul
