Hi folks, I have been a member here for quite some time (in days gone by) and posted under a couple of different names, mainly because I forget my handle, I have about 13 ride- ons altogether some good-some not so good and one that I was very relieved when it was stolen. One I was sorry I missed out on was a big AMC about 34 or 36 inch deck, can't win em all.
I won't bore you with details, I am sure you have more interesting things to do, one day I might be able to line them up.I will say though that my preferences are for Australian made, they are easier to work on, easier to service and just simply love being hated. My next rebuild will be a 34 " NZ made "King cat" leopard 2, totaly fabricated deck, heavy as all get-out and a V twin Vanguard engine with a petrol tank that should see a good days work.
Thanks for your help Jack and admins. Ray in Qld.
p.s. Have been onto Cox as regards the Kingcat, they deny all/any knowledge of them as to parts and info.
ray.

G'day oldfoolme, and welcome back to the ODK Forums. Sounds like you have an interesting collection there. AFAIK, Cox may have only brought in one model series of the Kingcat machines - there's still an Operator Manual download on their website for that one though - the 7301I; http://coxmowers.com.au/brochures-manuals/The Kingcat Industries company has been out of business for some years, and I believe Allpower Industries were also Oz agents at some point. So any parts beyond common ones like drive belts and blades/bolt sets are likely to be scarce.
Cheers, Gadge

G'day oldfoolme A warm welcome from me too.
13 ride-ons is a lot!
I'm not sure when Owen Cox & Co was sold to new owners.
Cheers ------------------------ Jack
