A friend of mine was considering buying a Victa "Tilt a Cut" that's fitted with a Powertorque engine. He was quoted $80 for it and he asked me if it was worth that. Honestly I didn't know as I felt that those style of edgers had pretty much gone out of fashion with the newer style units like the Atom edgers being more the in thing due to their versatility.
Love to hear the opinion of others.
Cheers, BB.

BB hard to justify the difference in price between a Tilt a cut and an Atom unless he is going to use it for business

Honestly what makes a Victa better than the SB Model 38 which are a struggle to sell for over a $100 ?
Sorry am I missing something here ?
Cheers, BB.

Not worth much here in this state $80-$100 I put one up on gumtree a few years ago and a Victorian paid for it and the shipping. For some reason the Eastern states people charge more

Thanks SG,
That's exactly what I thought. Sadly SA is a dying state. Gumtree is dead and you basically have to give stuff away. Anything that does sell has to be sent to the Eastern Seaboard.
Cheers, BB.

I had a tilt a cut chassis in good nick I found dumped at a mower shop. I ended to throwing it out. Could have sold it for some pocket money.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
