Hi Guys,

I'm pretty sure I know the real story, but I can't elaborate on it here as I don't want to bring ODK into disrepute. Lets put it this way, when situations like this arises you can count on both parties not letting a good yarn get in the way of the truth.

Cheers,
BB.

Next UPDATE !!

The old Scott Bonnar site on Port Road has now morphed from being a "Haval" Dealership to becoming the newest Jeep Dealership in Adelaide. It's called "Adelaide City Jeep" and looks set to be there preserving the building for quite some time to come.

It also seems that all the high-rise that was to be built on Port Road has been scrapped for the time being and now with the banks getting tighter on lending, this change of heart in development doesn't surprise me one little bit.

Cheers,
BB.

From churning out top notch machinery to flogging off Jeeps. Some progress.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

MF the use of the word "progress" is so old hat these days, the new terminology is "moving forward"

Haha I don't know about that NormK, i'm sure I remember a music group from the 80's saying "Go Forward" and "Move Ahead"...LOL!

Gees I hope they don't end up using this music video as the tv ads for the next upcoming federal election campaign? lol

Cheers!

G'day Mod BB, Mowerfreak, Norm and Converse

Many thanks for BB's update ...

Mowerfreak says it nicely.
Norm says it brilliantly!

I'll do a rant here ...
To make 'progress' implies a 'teleology' - a benchmark that shows a
move toward a desired goal. A mere change is a devolution.

A great comment by Converse there - about the opposite to progress.
Devo - devolution - is the sign of the times ... a bit like the cult movie,
Idiocracy - a brilliant mockumentary ...

I feel ODK does fight back - with intelligent comments.

Thanks to all members.
