Hey fellas.

The other night I picked up this beasty. She's a runner but the deck is badly rusted out.



I'm wanting to know more about the pro series. Who made them? When were they made? Did Victa itself ever actually manufacture ride on mowers or just rebadge them?

It seems like a pretty good bit of kit. It has a much thicker and larger section chassis than other ride ons I've seen, V twin power, hydrostatic drive, all steel construction. I've downloaded the owners manual from here but it seems there is very little other info out there on these.

From my research on here the gearbox is a Hydrogear BDU10s-114. The manual can be downloaded here.

The model-type-code on the briggs puts it as a 1989. The "Machine number" under the seat is TC 47 1637. I don't know if that means anything to anyone?

I plan to fix it up and get some lawn mowed. I've always dreamed of having a garden tractor with a front end loader so you never know, that might happen one day.
