Hello Rusty.ute

This is a Simpson-Pope design.
It is amazing that you have what appears to be NOS - New-old-stock

Thanks Jack, i was just making sure before offering them up sale on the forum to any members who may require them for a restoration alongside a 2 stroke NOS fuel tank and NOS muffler

Thanks again

G'day Rusty
I hope they go to a needy home, regardless of where advertised.

These bits are becomingly increasingly rare.
A great image record too!

I'd love to get my slimy hands on a classic Pope mower like that. Looks really modern for a metal catcher mower.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Hello Mowerfreak
Yes, this was one of the the last Models Pope made.
For whatever reason, Pope never moved to plastic catchers.

My father bought me one of these Popes new when I was just a teen.
I think he wanted me to earn my own pocket money.
I have fond memories of that lawnmower.
