Hello Blumbly and distinguished guests

I think V-M tells a common story there.
Yes, this topic has 'gone off' - in the true tradition of this forum - 'Off Topics'.
I would hate to moderate it in any other forum!

Yes, but I think the cockroach plague and the Golden Age of British Comedy
were also covered. The first being very bad; the last, very good.

Had I spoke Jive, the mere mention of 'junk' would have attracted 'pussies and boxes'.
I guess that is a matter for urban dictionaries, certainly not here.

But BB there is pussies and boxes.
Oh I'm just looking at how things have changed here over the years. It use to be so much different.I mean the subject here is Mowers I Junked a Decade Ago.Now it's about anything other than that.Regardless of what topic it's in the subject remains. We used to get our heads pulled in,even the occasionally e-mail about gone off topic.Oh how things have changed.
I mean I could even start a chat about anything here.
Like how much of an awesome day it is here today, but I won't.
Just what Iv'e observed thats all.Ok I know I know I'm off.

Morning all,

Why is it that when reading the last few posts Mrs Slocombe suddenly sprang to mind.......

No worries Trump-cat. I guess it's only fair you should look it up on the interweb. After all, it not as if this is 1948.

Maybe I should not have posted in the of topics section, but in this case I'm kind of glad it has "evolved".

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

'Serendipitous' is the word I'd use, in that regard. grin

In the varied Web forums I frequent, the 'Off Topic' section always does have the 'licence to freewheel herein' aspect to it. cool

Cheers,
Gadge

Thanks to Gadge and others for giving legitimacy to this topic.
However, I knew the Devil drp an unnamed member would want to talk about Betty and Tiddles.

If ever a character worked the double entendre it was Betty Slocombe:-

I can't believe how low I have stooped here:-

But I have enormous respect for the actress:-
