Hello
ODK History Lovers
News Cuttings was Victas official news publication to its dealer network.
Probably introduced in the late 1950s, it would be no more than a few pages in length.
This
mid-1962 issue is of some interest; because it demonstrates the complexity that
was Victa at this time. Victas main breadwinner was lawnmowers (no surprises there);
but Victa was so much more at this time...
Page One feature the glamour side of Victa their Aviation Division. Within a few
short years that venture would end in tragedy mainly due to the lack of Commonwealth

Dealer story; and Victas radio-controlled service vans. I dont think radio-
controlled meant a self-driver though What a handsome brick
Page Four the last page is devoted to service.
There is a handy hint on hot engine starting. Also, note the handy hint
on handle tightening. There is the familiar
Victa Wise cartoon and the
amusing
Short Cuts. Victa had an
international presence
