Hi Guys I am trying to replace the drive cutter belt on the Mowcart 66 Do I have to remove the engine to get the belt away from the engine pulley or is there a simpler method. Also would this belt effcet the drive?? Thank you in advance. Willo

Hi Willo,
Not sure what you are doing but we are unable to reply to your posts.
Anyway regarding your Mowcart belt problem I have no idea without looking at it, but removing the motor to replace the belts is not unusual and usually it is no big deal as the motors are only held in with 4 bolts and nuts. Usually you can slide the motor back to get the belts through although sometimes you have to lift the motor up. Usually not a massive job

Hi NormK

Thank you for your reply, not sure what the problem is with the site, but I have now signed in again and elected to stay signed in, they may fix the problem.

what I am trying to do in the first place is replace the cutter belt, which is connected to the bottom pulley on the engine and it does appear that i have to lift the engine to gain clearance from the drive pulley.

Thank you for your advice.

Willo

Hi Willo, all good now. Some of the bolts holding the motor on can be a bit of a pain the get at but usually not too hard.
