Some info that may assist. Everything I buy I pay retail, I am in WA. I buy bearings from Statewide Bearings, chain from Chain & Drives.
You don't need any special tools to break chain, just grind the heads off the pins and knock the side plate off with a screwdriver/sharp chisel.
Engine to cutter chain, 06b1 760mm long ( all measurements chain only). You can buy good chain for around $2.50 per foot (comes in 10 foot rolls), I use Hitachi chain at around $4 per foot. 10 foot roll is enough for four mowers.
Cutter to land roll clutch, 415 chain 735mm long. This chain also has a 1/2 link, not included in the above measurement. Land roll clutch to rear roller 415 chain, 477mm long.I use a heavier chain for both (415H), 10 foot box is enough for two mowers.
I use good quality bearings, all are around $10 or less.
Cylinder bearings RLS5 2RS.
Clutch output shaft, 1202 bearing, if you use this bearing the seal on the clutch output shaft is a V20 V ring, you also need a rubber seal on the chassis side of the bearing (35mm OD, 22MM ID). If the engine is in good alignment with the clutch output shaft a 6202 2RS bearing can work well ( my mower ran with a 6202 for 15 years without a problem).
Clutch thrust bearing, to the best of my knowledge original only.
Land roll clutch assy, 6204 2RS, 6003 2RS.
Rear roller, original only to best of my knowledge. I machine sleeves to adapt a 6202 2RS 16mm bore bearing, sleeve dimensions : 34.98mm ID, 38.6MM OD, 11MM wide.
Regards Gino

Hi Gino,
Thanks for posting this. I'm just wondering if maybe we reword it a bit and then put it up as a "Sticky" in the Model 45 section as a reference. How would you feel about that ?
Just out of interest, what's the difference in the two Land Roll Clutch assembly Bearing numbers ?
Cheers, BB.

Just found a rubber sealing washer for the clutch output shaft bearing housing, in case you don't have one the dimensions are 35mm OD, 22mm ID and around 2mm thick ( my previous post was incorrect).
I have never seen them but my understanding is that some 20" models use a different cylinder bearing ,I forgot to mention that.
BB, you do what you think is best, hopefully all the info is correct and is of use. Regarding the clutch land roll assy I listed both bearings.
Gino

Hi Gino,
Yes the early 3 piece rear roller 20 inch machine used the RMS5 bearing but it was then retro fitted back to the smaller RLS5.
Cheers, BB.
