G'day all anybody have a hd8 bonnet and a hd8 engine clutch as I'm missing the rear half
with the small pulley they want to sell please

I think I have an HD8 bonnet here but it doesn't have the alloy nose piece. I think all the other HD8 bits in boxes went to some bloke over your way. I do have some Anniversary bits, not sure if any of that will help

I just remembered I have what I thought was an HD12 here but discovered yesterday it is an Anniversary with the alloy front section on the bonnet, I would need to have a closer look at it, not sure if it has been modified but I don't think it has. Does anybody know if any Anniversarys came out with the alloy front, because you can't fit the tractor bonnet on the Anniversary because it is about 50mm shorter

Unfortunately I can't help. I am wrecking an 'old red' HD8 (correction, it has offered to give its organs ) but one of the reasons I decided to part out that particular machine is that the bonnet is missing! And being a red machine the engine clutch arrangement is different.
I looked for a long time for a wrecker but basically all the machines I found were too good to be busted up. I'm still on the lookout as the restorations that are happening around the place are going to need donors and the need will only increase.

In the meantime if there is anything you need that might be on this red one, let me know.

Ummmm, I think I might be confusing myself (and everyone else). I've just looked beck at your past threads. Your machine IS a 'red'! - assuming your talking about the 11/2 machines with one having the G80 hanging out the top?

If that be the case I do have a front clutch.
