Hi all,

Could anyone give me some help with this please? I have just acquired a victa something with a B&S 35 engine - the engine reads- model 90902, type 2091 B1, code 05122852.
I fired her up - she ran sort of ok for about 20 seconds, then for some reason the engine just started over- revving, I shut her down, pulled the top cover off and found the governor arm snapped in 3 with the plastic vane part resting neatly against the exhaust.
What I'd really like to know is if the springs are set up correctly? I've moved the throttle and what's left of the governor by hand. At no time did the springs have any tension on them.
anything else you guys could tell me about my latest addition would be appreciated.
Cheers, [Linked Image]

You need to replace the vane for starters
