Hi Everyone,

I have just recently become an owner of my first SB45. On my first use of the new machine, I lost power to the drive wheel and thanks to this forum, I discovered I needed a new clutch cork (thanks guys!). It is now up and running again.

I initially put the cork break down to the fact that the mower had been out of use for a long period of time. However, I am now wondering about my throttle speed and clutch control.

I guess my question is: Is it ok to run the motor at high revs and ride the clutch to the speed I want or should I be adjusting the engine speed so that I am running the mower with the clutch hard on?
