Hi all I have a small problem that I have not come up against before there is no throttle control cable or lever fitted to this machine. It is a 2013 Scott Bonnar mini rider model 13A326JC373 with a 190cc Briggs and Stratton motor model 122702-0190-01 the mech wasn't all to forthcoming with answers I looked up the carbie and found there are 2 types fitted on this motor one has a plastic spring holder fitted & the other one does not mine has but the mechanic told me that mine doesn't he said to run the throttle at about 3000 revs problem is it is a 6 speed and when I engage 6th gear whit the cutter blade on it stalls I went ahead and installed the spring as shown in the photos and it helped a little but I am still not getting the speed that I should It also chatters have checked all the pulleys and they are free running and in good shape the governor does not seem to activate but does when you manually throttle

Stockman,

First off you have quoted the incorrect engine model it should start with 122S02- being a 875EX engine. You will need to supply the correct information so that we do not go around in circles try to give you advise. The model type and code should be on the rocker cover or stamped into the metal cover of the engine. cheers2

Governor spring PN 796484 missing for one thing and may very well be your main problem.

I didn't know you guy had those clown riding a toy car type mowers. The first one I seen over here was a Murray and I about laugh myself silly as to size of the guy sitting on it looked it going to disappear. Sorry I can't believe they would make a rider that small. Please forgive me, I couldn't resist.

Yellow line indicates where the spring goes.
