Hi all.
I have a model 45 that has been restored and has been working well for the last 2 seasons. It is a 2.5 Kirby engine.
The last time I used it the engine would conk out when it went under load. I tried to fire it back up but it didn't sound great and now won't kick over.
As you can likely tell I am not all that technical when it comes to engines and fixing them.
I should also add that there was some slight blue smoke coming out the small black hose that is located on the rear of the engine.
I'm located in the Nort Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
Anyone have any advice? Should I just take it to Stanford mowers? I'm guessing the engine needs to be replaced.
Thanks in advance.
I'll upload photos now in a new post.
