Honestly this one is quite capable of being a concourse restorer and deserves to be so, just the handle bars are a bit of a challenge I guess and also a fair cost involved.
Under the chaincase it looks to be starving of lubricant to be totaly honest. Regardles it's a great barn find.
Hows the catcher situated ?

Unfortunately the catcher was MIA but couldn't refuse the mower for $60. Fuel tank has a steel cap which is also a first for me in a HK30.

Both my 20 inch Kirby HK30 powered machines have tin lids and not the later plastic caps.
