Some photos of an ancient 20 inch Model 45 I picked up from a trip down south in WA. Bit sad but unit appears to have been laid up before it did much work. The only 20 I have seen with the larger bearing holders.

Photo of under the chain case tells the story !

Hi MJ,

Honestly this one is quite capable of being a concourse restorer and deserves to be so, just the handle bars are a bit of a challenge I guess and also a fair cost involved.

Under the chaincase it looks to be starving of lubricant to be totaly honest. Regardles it's a great barn find.

Hows the catcher situated ?

Cheers,
BB.

Unfortunately the catcher was MIA but couldn't refuse the mower for $60. Fuel tank has a steel cap which is also a first for me in a HK30.

Hi MJ,

Both my 20 inch Kirby HK30 powered machines have tin lids and not the later plastic caps.

Cheers,
BB.
