I have a Rockwell lawn mower model RG8760 for repair that is missing the air box cover and filter but I am unable to find any reference to this model, which is hampering my ability to find any replacement parts anywhere on the internet using the RG8760 as a reference. I gather it is a Chinese Honda Clone, and the best I can determine as a possible replacement, is the air box from a Honda GCV135 and GCV160 motor. The motor is a 139cc 4hp 4-stroke with Serial number 2013150 2969. Here are some photos confirming Model details, the current air box case and an over the top view:- ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2016/09/full-9311-30215-img_3006.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2016/09/full-9311-30214-img_3007.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2016/09/full-9311-30216-img_3008.jpg) Sorry, the model photo won't turn right-side-up, even after I turned it upside-down and reloaded. Will this Honda Air box fit this clone? Thank you for your time Regards Daryl

That air box is nothing like a Honda GCV air box. Retro fit one off another chonda if you have one, otherwise it will be a big struggle to find it genuine.

![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2016/09/full-7394-30227-model_info_inv.jpg) There ya go. If you can't get a picture right side up you have to strip its EXIF data from it. Check the bolt spacing and find another Chonda or genuine Honda style that will fit. Or if it is not the standard Honda spacing, let us know what the spacing is, someone may have an airbox off something else that will fit.

Given time, eventually I thought I would find a similar machine to get a part number. :-) In this case, I found the part number for the Air Filter Cover I am looking for, which is D13010150. Using this part number, I found (in Spain and Poland) the part number relates to an engine model DG1P61F, DG1P65F and DG1P70F-A, but there is also a model DG1P70F-B. The IPL for the 1P70F-A shows under DG1P73F-A from a UK website. I was also able to get an IPL for these engines with a list of part numbers. Air Filter is an oval sponge type with part number D15040010. I now have the Operators Manual for the DG1P61F and DG165F and an IPL for engine 1P65F both in PDF format along with the IPL for engine DG1P61F in excel format (from Poland, but in English). Haven't been able to find the filter (with photo to confirm item is right) online, but did locate a the cover in Spain. :-O This information may help others. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2017/02/full-9311-32975-img_4030.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2017/02/full-9311-32976-img_4031.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2017/02/full-9311-32977-img_4032.jpg)

These Rockwell mowers are a Metcash/Mitre 10 direct import from China, I believe. Certainly the brand is exclusive to Mitre 10 for mowers here. So I don't think there's any parts or service literature backup available for them, AFAIK.
The local 'mini Mitre 10' [it's a section in the Supa IGA supermarket] here doesn't stock any parts at all for them, though they have the mowers. In a quite weird juxtaposition, they're displayed near to the meat cabinet...
Cheers, Gadge

Hi Gadge. Yes, that's the problem with these imports. There is a lack of available support material for these mowers, let alone being able to find a part without having a part number. It's been a hard slog to find an IPL for the engine on the mower I have here that's missing some parts but, using the part number of the air cleaner cover from a similar engine, at least I found these so anyone else looking for an IPL will have a chance of finding one that may match their engine. Some parts are available on a Spanish website, but the next best option is to find one that is being dismantled or thrown away. All this for a simple air box cover and and air filter. :-(
