OK I have had some success with this in the past so hopefully that good luck can pay off now.
I'm hoping to find a Consul 2 1965-68 Models 541 & 551.
These where not popular models I guess that's why I haven't be able to find any to date.
Here's what it looks like.

Here's the one that got away.I won't go into that as I'm still sad about it.

I know that it was in sad condition but it could have been saved.
So if anyone has one or knows of one please let me know.
Thanks.

I'm sure I saw one in reasonable condition today on either ebay or gumtree I think for $50 or about that

Must have been down this way because I only look around Victoria for mowers, I can have another look tomorrow if you like.

Blumby, I had a look but can't find it , add must have been removed, I will keep an eye out and sometimes on gumtree it is very hard to find some things, they seem to hide things in obscure places

Well the starter, cowl and at least one of the taps are correct for this consul.Without the rest of the mower it's not really any good to me.You watch if I find one these consul's the cowl and the starter will be no good.

Hello Blumby

Thanks for the update.

What appears to be emerging [in Victa folklore] is that the 1950s
machines have been covered; but many 1960s models have not.

This may go to collecting popularity rather than rarity.
I don't know!

We look forward to following your progress in preserving less-common
Victa 1960s models.

Many thanks.
