Oh yes with all the excitement that has been happening with my 2 Viceroy's I forgot to mention another well welcomed mower to my collection. This one came from another mower man and a good friend of mine, whom will remain nameless.OK,Wilko and thanks it has certainly found itself a home here.

Now this awesome lad came with all the attachments and it's rear catcher.I have been searching for one of these for years. It's not that I didn't find one before it just wasn't worth getting. This one is complete with all it's original parts. It is suppose to be runner.
However when I've tried to run it,it seems that the stater is catching on the starter drum.
I'm not 100% sure of what the problem is,but what I think it is.There is suppose to be 4 spaces to hold down the impulse starter. When I removed the starter there was only one there.
As illustrated below.

This spacer helps to align the starter and help to keep it inline with the drum.
Now unfortunately I don't have any spares. So if anyone has any please let me know as I would really love to see this lad running again.I don't want to push the issue and do possible damage to the starter or drum.
So if you can help please do,and once again Wilko thanks.I am really happy with this lad.

Another awesome mower! You cleaned up off Wilko! Did you see my old Pace there? Is she still looking ok?

Thanks Kye.Yeah I think he still has the old Pace there.I think the mower bug has him bad.Keeps telling me he has to down size as he wants to move but then keeps getting more.I know how that can be.I've just given into the mower god now.I just keep getting can't help myself.Although the holes in the collection and now getting smaller.Really do need to fill the whole now with a more complete Ambassador. At least I can now find one with a buggered base now as I have a good one.

Yes, the Pace is still here. Got a good swap on the Corvette with Blumbly for some newer type mowers, though was sad to see it go. At least I have a few photos to remind me how it looks.

Wilko laugh You finally made it! Awesome to see you here.

I had to downsize before laidley, sold about 70% of my mowers, said "i'm only buying rare ones now", turns out I found more rare ones then I thought I would lol! Got a shipping container full again...

Oh well, all fun and games until mum makes you sell them again.

Yes, lots of fun. Have been a member for quite some time here, just never posted anything. Only reading all the interesting posts. Luckily for me, no-one tells me when I need to sell them, just when I can't walk in the garage anymore, then it's time for some serious downsizing.

So are you planning on leaving the Corvette as is or doing a restore?

Ok, so it's been added on to the to do list. Will look even better after restoration, will sit nicely in your collection.
