The machine (above) would date from the mid-to-late 1970s.
Note the weights over the rear wheel.
Earlier machines had no rear weights.
It was possible (for a novice) to reverse too quickly.
In such cases the machine would want to flip forward so that
the operator would be looking down on the cutter deck!
I suspect Yazoo had shares in underwear companies.
Later machines would add not only weights, but a lock bar
preventing dangerous tip-ups.
Note that the lift assist spring is missing on the machine (above).
This assisted the lifting of the cutter deck (for transport).
In experienced hands, these were great fun to ride and to watch from the sideline.
