Hi Guys,
I am looking for a good set of plastic type wheels and a rope pulley in fair to good condition for my Model 2 Victa restoration. These parts should be the last I need to find for my restoration, I hope. I am at the stage of stripping, cleaning and testing parts. The electrics were fair but a bit of a clean up and gap points the spark is now good enough. I can get the bearings and seals locally to me and I have been sourcing and buying other parts as I find them. So hopefully some one out there ahs a set of wheels to suit my needs. Cheers Cobba.

I'd say you will have to keep an eye on eBay and gumtree for the wheels. Since the last aftermarket supplier discontinued the plastic 18 replica wheels a few years ago, prices have ramped up noticeably.

I know it is a big, big ask but if you don't ask you don't find out. You never know your luck in a big world like this. I was talking to a seller on ebay who sells a lot of Victa parts and said that the company that was moulding the wheels had "lost" the moulds and they were closing. So somewhere out there is a set of moulds waiting to be put back into service.

That's right. There was obviously a mould or set of moulds that were making the repo wheels and now they are either missing or tossed.
