Hello Popedaddy

Welcome to these forums from me.
For the record, I guess you're after the early Pope can that
came with the Pope sidewheel power mower, and the first rotary,
the 320-01.

Here's a record photo for the can:-

Glad to see you made it Gav!

Hopefully you can find a reasonably priced can, some of them are threw the roof! You looking for the other ones as well?

Also does anyone know who supplied Pope fuel and oil? I can't find anything anywhere.

Cheers everyone!

Welcome Popedaddy.
Kye, I've got the orange Pope tin and it doesn't mention any fuel or oil supplier.

That's a sensational family you have there. Seems we have found the reason no one can find one, you've got them all!

my tin arrived the other day, and i now have 5 mowers, Pius has enough parts now to complete his resurrection, as from this photo you can see what needs to happen

You would think that huge shroud would cause over heating problems with a big yard in an Aussie summer. Must be some good forced air cooling going on.

that's what killed em trev frown they did a factory fix of supplying snorkels and modded air filters so they could breath cool air, an the last of then had the base cut out under the carb and barrel to rid the heat, but all too late, it killed the deign in it's tracks ! the following 320.02 was a complete redesign/conventional mower

Must have been designed by the same people that thought you could bring English built cars with tiny radiators and tiny fans to do hundred mile trips in the Aussie Summer and they wouldn't boil their heads off.

So would that mean there was 3 versions of the 320-01? Maybe a 320-01.1, 320-01.2 and a 320-01.3! That would be cool!
