Does the Masport pictured whipper snipper use the same fuel lines as Ryobi does? This whipper snipper has perished fuel lines but the primer is ok, the fuel filter seems ok but not really sure need to test it. I have some surplus ryobi fuel line somewhere and so could possibly repair it providing it matches the very similar structure of this Masport. [Linked Image]

As long as the inside and outside diameters of the fuel line are the same you'll have no problem. The main thing is the outside diameter has to be correct to seal as it passes through the fuel tank or the fuel tank grommet. For the money involved it is worth changing the fuel pick up filter regularly anyway as most dramas are caused by them starting to block off over time.

Thanks Trev, Bunnings sell a kit containing fuel line and a fuel filter, it is labelled as for Ryobi might have a look at that. Having said that, I haven't had a great deal of success with Whipper Snippers.

Tiger, there are almost as many variations on fuel line internal and external diameters as there are brands of snippers so you are probably better off going to a mower place or the outdoorking parts site to be sure you get the right one otherwise you'll could end up with fuel leaking everywhere.
