Would anyone have any Info on a Bunyip push reel?
Knock and Kirbys.
Any timeline or info would be appreciated

I have been looking at the Bunyip for a few years.

Clearly, an important mower to our vintage mower history, and
one almost completely forgotten...

Is there anyway to tell its exact year? Pt markings etc? Im assuming the design didn't change?
What I do find astounding is the price, especially when compared to a power reel or side wheel power reel!

No way to accurately date these side-wheels.
The safest bet is to call it a mid-1930s machine.
I have no doubt that the majority of sales would have occurred
between 1936 and about 1940.

Post-war, these machines were decidedly 'old' looking.
Qualcast, by the way, continued to sell the older Model H,
but it was eclipsed by the newer Qualcast designs - the Blue Ribbon
and the Super Seven.

Yes the price difference is significant. The older designs
were heavily discounted though.
