Royo1980No way to accurately date these side-wheels.
The safest bet is to call it a
mid-1930s machine.
I have no doubt that the majority of sales would have occurred
between 1936 and about 1940.
Post-war, these machines were decidedly 'old' looking.
Qualcast, by the way, continued to sell the older Model H,
but it was eclipsed by the newer Qualcast designs - the Blue Ribbon
and the Super Seven.
Yes the price difference is significant. The older designs
were heavily discounted though.
