For me it's a bit like when someone does up a Commodore. They can go through all the motions and do some great work to them but it's still an ugly commodore. For me if they had have started with a a better core that had some great body styling that mower would look much better. Having said that, It's a great job. Now I reckon if the front face section of the bonnet was replaced by a nice shiny "jail bar" style grill It'd have some real nostalgic charm about it.

If you are going to all that trouble I think a good finish in the original colour is always best

I especially like how they have bought the exhaust fumes right up to face level, and the nice sharp 90 degree bend to do it with. Now that is some forward thinking, get sick from the fumes so you never have to mow the lawn again.
