Just wondering the age/interest in the following mower I've seen. 80's? 70's?

Jetfast with Bragg industries sticker on it. B&S 3.5Hp vertical pull.

That would be a 1980s machine.
The engine is consistent with being the original motor.

hi pitrack , you got a side on photo of it too ? like to see the wheel centre caps , a star type of thing are they ??? i have seen three and all had an old honda engine , cant remember the size though but old tin topped gxv160 or something ??

Patrick be careful very quickly you will have so many you won't know which to work on so it takes forever to get anything finished

Norm, good call, I am aware of this and fully agree. In this case it is the intent to mothball Eric and use the Jetfast + Masport for practice- stripping, painting, etc. before I stuff up something unique. If they look nice if not exactly as they were, well and good enough.

In fact I may just leave Eric with his current patina as it's actually in a relatively good condition considering. Certainly Eric will be left alone (except for engine dismantle) until I feel I can do properly.

In the meantime been unable to pick up due to other issues this morning and more due today. I hope the rain due in Canberra doesn't get to them and I can this afternoon. What is it with people stripping caps and plugs? I can only assume they were dropped off by a dealer as not economically repairable.

We'll see. It may not happen/they may be gone, who knows.
