May somebody tell me the stud/nut size and thread type that holds the cylinder down on the crankcase on a Victa 125cc engine for the model 5 Victa 18's.

Thread size is 5/16th Whit and uses a 1/4 Whit spanner/socket I think, I will check it later

Tyro, the spanner required for the barrel base nuts is 3/16 whit, head studs are 1/4 whit

Am at work now but pretty sure what Norm has posted is correct, definitely Whitworth threads.
