G'day Jack here's some pics of that Honda powered mower we were talking about a while ago. I hope this helps and let me know if you would like any more pics.

You will notice a few "running repairs"
The front wheels bribe apart and these are from a Masport from memory.
I could not find a cir clip for the wheels that would hold up so reluctantly I used one of those CIG clips
Believe it or not, the cable tie n the height adjuster isn't factory but I thought better than the tecscrew or hayband alternatives.
The pull cord broke so I use the electric starter and I'm not in a rush to fix that as I really am a lazy bugger and that pulling really doesn't interest me.

G'day slashnburn

These are great photos. Thank you.

I am more convinced that this is a Bragg High Arch mower.
The riveted lever and segment are typical of a Bragg design.
It seems to have been based (no pun) on the Scott Bonnar 720,
but with distinctive differences.

Cheers

p.s. The cable tie - what a wonderful invention.

So does this make it sought after by someone somewhere or just a point of interest?
Would it have been sold under a name or perhaps the sales bloke had "this nice blue one"
It seems there were there a lot of mowers sold under different names. My dad had my Pas that was a Waltens. Which was a local store brand Victa with a gold low arch base and 160.
A while ago the scrappy had a beautiful low arch gold base Myre brand Victa.

The cable tie and duct tape is the modern blokes answer to the fencing wire/hay band I reckon.

Collectors seem to be less attracted to these 'more modern' mowers.
No one seems to know much about Bragg Industries.

A similar situation with ride-ons. It's only recently that folks
are preserving the old Rovers, Greenfields, Coxes, Deutschers, etc.
I think this is the territory that comes with a new generation.

Absolutely, and it makes researching extremely difficult.
Branding is not a modern thing though. The Americans were
doing it with mowers from the late 19th Century (1875 or abouts).

It is more rampant now than ever it was. The idea is to confuse
the consumer - so they can't compare apples with apples. Just finding
the country of origin is almost impossible.

All we can do is keep your machine on record and we will
identify its name at some point.

Cheers

No worries mate. As I said in the thread that started it all I had assumed it was a Honda.
Nice work on that garden spray gun too!

Jack I now believe everything is made in China, unless otherwise proven
